Sixteen practices in the North of Dudley are entering wave 4b as a PMS collaborative on
1.10.02. We have resource allocation to employ about ten WTE salaried GP’s. There is a
flexibility of employing whole time and part-time G.P.'s. The employment packages will be generous and include time off for educational activities within the working week (we are developing a support package with local The Local Public Health Medicine Department and local educationalists). The term of the contract of employment will be around three years. The G.P.'s will be mainly based at one practice or do sessions at different practices.
This may be an opportunity for our regional GP Registrars who have recently completed or about to complete their VTS training. I wonder if I could impose upon you to forward this information/letter to the VTS course organisers in our region.
