Kidderminster is famous for its production quality carpets. It is a thriving town of about 100,000 people with recent redevelopments around the town center.

Stanmore House is a sympathetically converted Victorian house in Kidderminster, a town slap bang in the centre of the Worcestershire countryside. 

We are a four-partner practice looking for a registrar to join us for a year. Our team is excellent, well motivated and caring. As a forward thinking practice we are computerised hoping to ‘go paperless’ soon. 

We have been a training practice for over 20 years and have recently expanded our educational facilities to support our teaching programme for medical students from Birmingham University. We are involved in several research projects. 

As you might expect all the usual services are offered from family planning to counselling as well as Diabetic Asthma and CVD clinics. We belong to the local G.P. co-operative and have a good relationship with the secondary care team. Recently the P.C.T. has developed a G.P. unit

Members of the team are encouraged to develop their own special interests, something we would support in our registrar.  

We belong to the North Worcestershire V.T.S.
